I suspect one has a lot of idle time in prison. That may be part of what leads to so many frivolous suits by prisoners. Attorneys on the wrong side of barred windows are no exception. One attorney was jailed after being convicted of murdering a former client who had become his lover. (There’s a reason there’s an ethics rule against that!) From prison, he is now fighting tooth and nail not to be disbarred. Murder, according to him, is apparently not misconduct.
