People injured as a result of others’ negligence must not only prove that those they sue were negligent, but that the negligence caused their injuries. At least, that is how American Courts work.
Chinese Courts have a different view of causation. When a student took a woman who fell to the hospital, he was rewarded by a lawsuit accusing him of causing her injuries. He lost. The Chinese judge reasoned (and who could argue?) that if the student had not been at fault, why would he have bothered to stop and help!
